Basil has an extensive assortment systems with which baskets and bags can be fixed on the bicycle. In the below following summaries you can read and see everything about the possibilities and appli-cations of the systems. Basimply Lock-system
The Basimply Lock-system is a handy fixing system for the front of the bicycle and it is available in many executions. The system in combination with the basket Basimply (10045) and the junior basket (30007) has been T"UV approved, which means that it complies with the severe German requirements. Also on the various versions pa-tents have been acquired.

Length*especially for the use in combination with a child's seat an extra long execution is available. The basket is positioned a little further from the handlebar so that the child's seat can be used without any problem.
Diameter handle bar stem*depending on the diameter of the handle-bar stem the right execution must be choosen: the " standard" or the "oversized". An oversized handlebar stem is often found on bicy-cles with an aluminium frame.
Basil Permanent-system
This system is very handy when the basket has to stay on the bike permanently. Moreover it is suitable for bikes with a spring fork. Fixing happens on the handlebar stem. On this system patents have been acquired.

Leather belts
A very simple and effective method to fix a basket to the handle-bar. The big willow bicycle basket 13011 DARWIN (13011s.jpg) is the only basket wich can be fixed with leather belts.
Steering head holder + stay
The well known way of fixing a basket permanently on the bi-ke. Through the support from the bottom of the basket to the front axle the support from the basket to the steering head can be in a lighter execution. This method requires the removal of the handlebar.
Steering head holder + fork crown holder
This method looks much the same as the method under point 5. The difference is that here no stay is used. The stay is replaced by a fork crown holder. The way of fixing is only applied at junior baskets.
EDO
The aluminium holder EDO is mounted fast and simple on the steering head tube. A matching bracket fits into the holder, which makes the basket removable. Because the system is mounted on the stee-ring head tube the basket does not move with the handlebar (this is certainly the case with holders on the handlebar stem). The holder is available in an oversized version.
ELBA
The nylon holder ELBA can easily be fixed on the seat tube, thus a system for baskets on the back. A matching bracket fits into the holder and can be secured by means of a safety catch. In respect of systems which are mounted on the luggage carrier the system ELBA has the advantage that the basket is springy. Moreover the basket floats over the luggage carrier and therefore remains the possibility to use rear bike bags. An oversized version of ELBA is not available.
NICO-QUICK RELEASE DEVICE
The Nico quick release device is a classical amongst the fixing systems. The basket, provided with this system, allows fast and easy clam-ping on the luggage carrier. The device can be adjusted in case the luggage carrier differs in width.
Basevery-system
This new patented system meets all requirements of the present time; it fits on nearly all luggage carriers, it works very handy and is durable. The basis is a aluminium casted supporting plate which can easily be mounted on a luggage carrier. On the bottom of the matching basket or bag a nylon counterplate is mounted fitting exactly on the supporting plate. The basket/bag is pushed " blind" on the supporting plate till the locking catch "clicks" Especially for luggage carriers with a heightened back part a spe-cial heightening piece is delivered free of charge.
Bevestigingsset fietsvouwmand
The bicycle folding basket, which stays on the bike permanently, is fastened on the side of the luggage carrier by means of clips. In case the luggage carrier differs from standard carriers the basket can be fixed by means of tie-ribs.
Suspension device folding basket
In order to make the folding basket removable a suspension device should be mounted to the side of the luggage carrier. Then the basket is provided with a carrying strap.
Clamp-on device on luggage carrier
An easy method to clamp baskets on a luggage carrier. On the bot-tom of the basket there are two clip-on devices with springs which are drawn out. Each clip-on device has two nylon blocks with a cut-out which fits on the outside carrier tubes.
Spring Clamp
In case your luggage carrier has a spring clamp, you push the little hooks in the bottom of the basket under a bar of the car-rier. Then the spring clamp can rest on the cut-out in the bas-ket. The spring clamp takes care the basket does not come of the carrier.
BasEasy-system II
The BasEasy-system is a click-system for removable baskets and bags. There are three kinds of executions available: a handlebar bendholder, a handlebar stemholder and a spring fork holder. You have the choice which system fits the best with your bike and situation. The handlebar bag NABA and the baskets BRAVA II, BASIMPLY II are suitable for the BasEasy-system. You also have the possibility to change: through weekdays a basket for shopping, in the weekends a handlebar bag for touring. The handlebar stemholder is furthermore improved in 2005: the holder is length-adjustable in three fixed positions so that the feet of a child's seat or a bent forward handlebar, do not cause any problems. Furthermore it is possible to mount the holder on normal sized and oversized handlebar stems and it is provided with a beautiful synthetic cover. And at the bottom a cable fastening point is created, on which you can lead the handlebar and brake cables along (so that they are not getting in the way anymore).
Permanent-system II
The Permanent-system II is a system for non-removable baskets (fixed mounted baskets). Just as the removable variant (BasEasy-system II), the holder is length-adjustable in three fixed positions so that the feet of a child's seat or a bent forward handlebar, do not cause any problems. Furthermore it is possible to mount the holder on normal sized and oversized handlebar stems and it is provided with a beautiful synthetic cover. And at the bottom a cable fastening point is created, on which you can lead the handlebar and brake cables along (so that they are not getting in the way anymore). The baskets BREVI en BERLIN LUXE II are suitable for the Permanent-system II.

You have the choice which system fits the best with your bike and situation. The handlebar bag NABA and the baskets BRAVA II, BASIMPLY II are suitable for the BasEasy-system.
